World Expo Shanghai 2010 Delegation to Visit Spain's "Road to Shanghai" Show

Headed by Mr Sun Weimin, Director of institutional Relations and Foreign Affairs of Expo Shanghai 2010, tomorrow a delegation of five officials of the Expo organisation will visit the Camino a Shanghai [Road to Shanghai] exhibition at Madrid's Círculo de Bellas Artes, which will remain open until 7th February. They will be honoured at an official reception hosted by the Board Chairman of the SEEI, Mr José Eugenio Salarich, and the General Commissioner of the Spanish Pavilion, Ms Maria Tena. The reception will also be attended by representatives of the Spanish Government and institutions along distinguished personalities from the world of in politics, the arts and the media with an interest in Spanish-Chinese relations. Chinese Ambassador to Spain Mr Zhu Bangzao will also attend.

Accompanying Mr Sun Weimin in the delegation will be Mr He Zhongqing, Senior Program Officer of the Department of Promotion and Communication of the Office of Coordination of Shanghai World Expo, Mr Fang Ying, Senior Program Officer of the Department of Protocol and Foreign Affairs of the Office of Coordination of the Shanghai World Expo, Mr Jin Shenghua, Program Officer of the Department of International Participants, and Ms We Juechen, Program Officer of the Department of Promotion and Communication of the Office of Coordination of Shanghai World Expo.

The Camino a Shanghai exhibition, which will give an advance view of the Spanish Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, was opened on Thursday, 21st January by Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mr Miguel Angel Moratinos, the Minister of Culture, Ms. Angeles González-Sinde, the Minister of Housing, Ms Beatriz Corredor, and the Secretary General of the BIE, Vicente González Loscertales.
